CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - The country's premier algriculture awards will start its road show this year in Pmapnga at Windus Hotel on March 27.

Media prectitioners in print, radio, and TV based in Pampanga are expected to attend the road show. The road show will be Bright Leaf's first visit in the province.

The Bright Leaf caravan, which was initiated by PMFTC Inc., will embark on a nationwide swing, stopping over at key cities and provinces to invite agriculture journalist to submit entries to the competition, which will culminate with the awarding ceremonies in November.

The Bright Leaf Agriculture Journalism Awards aims to support agriculture and honor Filipino journalists by giving recognition to outstanding work in media that promoted the development of, and creates awareness on issues relating to Philippine agriculture.
