ABOUT THE AWARDS
The Bright Leaf Agriculture Journalism Awards is a news, features and photography competition that aims to give due recognition to the very best agricultural journalists in the country, and thus promoting agricultural development and sustainability in the Philippines. With categories for print, radio and television, the Bright Leaf Awards is the most prestigious and most participated of its kind in the country today.

Last year, close to two hundred members of the media from all over the country joined the competition to showcase the Filipinos' talent, passion, and dedication to topnotch reportage of the Philippine agriculture industry.

Although an initiative of the private sector, the Bright Leaf awards is a collaboration of the government sector, the media, and the academe, specifically the best educators, scientists and technicians from the country’s top agricultural colleges and universities.

Now in its third year, the Bright Leaf Awards rewards the winners with prizes in cash and in kind.
